Course Summary

Increase your mileage over the month of June, with guidance and gait tips from Restorative Exercise Specialist Carol Robbins.

Let's walk together/apart! This pandemic has meant a huge decrease in my outdoor walking time. If that sounds familiar and you'd like some motivation to get back out there and increase mileage with me, we can do this together. With this course, we can share our travels and travails - using the community feature we can report our daily or weekly mileage, ask questions and support each other.

If you currently walk a specific amount but would like a good plan to up your mileage, with a view to hiking or urban hiking a long walk by the end of the month (be that 5, 10 or 20 miles), join me! I will be sharing tips, and we will have a live Restorative Exercise session each week (worth $60). The sessions will be recorded if you can't make it live.

When you sign up, you'll get an email each Tuesday in the month of June with the outline of that weeks' challenges, the time of the live session and links to the community. At the end of the month we can plan a larger group walk (in our own locations) for the grand finale.

Something about your Gait class "re-worked" something in that toe/joint/foot. I went for a massage a week later and my LMT couldn't get over the difference there. (A chronically blocked/tight area for me.)

Now I'm into "stress walking" - instead of sitting down when I'm feeling stress I get my shoes on and walk right out the door! Rain or shine! This is what I've learned from the Walking Challenge! A tremendous shift for me. So grateful.
